Originally from Cuenca, Ecuador, I studied B.Sc. in Biotechnology at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico. Starting in Fall 2025, I'm pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical Enginering and Applied Chemistry at UofT. 

I'm passionate about the multi-omics study of microbiomes in the industry and the environment, as well as the design and optimization of their metabolic functions. I believe understanding microbiomes is an important step toward building a sustainable future.

I also love tennis, astronomy and comedy movies.
